Joseph Mendes, Massachusetts Assistant Regional Coordinator, started in EMS in 2021 working at UMass Lowell EMS serving as a Preceptor, Field Supervisor and the program Assistant Manager. During his time with UMass Lowell EMS he served as the Special Operations Coordinator and Supply Coordinator. He graduated from UMass Lowell in 2024 with my Bachelors of Science in Biology. His long term goal is to attend medical school. He obtained his AEMT in 2023 and has since been working in Mobile Integrated Health at South Shore Health. During his free time he enjoys biking, hiking, and rock climbing.
